ACCOUNTS MANAGER AND SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description

This is a fast-paced dynamic role that requires a hardworking, resourceful and capable individual who enjoys taking on new challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, customer service, inventory management and is able to build long-lasting relationships with both clients and vendors. The candidate will be assigned some leads as well as expected to build their own network of clients using both personal and prior business contacts. We are looking for employees to help grow our organization.

Responsibilities

Accounts Manager
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (i.e. weekly sales results)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Sales Representative:

  • Generating leads
  • Meeting and/or exceeding sales goals
  • Negotiating contracts and prices with prospective clients
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs
  • Understanding and promoting company programs and products
  • Obtaining deposits and balance payment from clients
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs to promote our products and services
  • Maintaining client records
  • Maintaining a positive rapport with all potential clients and established clients
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, communication or related field 
  • Experience working as an Accounts Manager for a territory or division 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to collect, track and analyse large amounts of data
  • Adaptability and strong problem solving skills 
  • Ability to build and maintain strong rapport with clients, vendors and other team members 
  • Extensive, accurate product knowledge
